1. Who is responsible
The data controller is the operator of Harmoniq DJ, an independent product run from Türkiye. Contact: hello@harmoniqdj.com. If you need the operator's registered details for a formal request — a data subject request, a regulator's enquiry, a legal notice — write to that address and they are provided.
This policy is written to meet Türkiye's KVKK (Law No. 6698) and the EU/UK GDPR. If you are in another country, the rights below are offered to you anyway.
2. What never leaves your device
This is the part most people ask about, so it goes first.
Your audio files are not uploaded for analysis. Key, BPM, energy and confidence are all computed by your own browser, on your own machine. No file is sent to a server, queued, or processed remotely. Unreleased promos stay where they are.
There is exactly one case where an audio file leaves your device, and you trigger it deliberately: attaching a track to a community post or a direct message. That file is uploaded so it can be delivered to the people you are sending it to. Nothing else uploads audio.
3. What we do store

The file name is stored; the file is not. If your file names contain something you would rather we did not hold, rename before you analyse.
4. What we never do
- Sell, rent or share your data with data brokers or advertisers.
- Run advertising or cross-site tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no ad network. Usage events go into our own database and stop there.
- Train machine-learning models on your audio. The models Harmoniq ships were trained before you arrived, on licensed and public datasets.
- Read your direct messages, except where we are legally compelled to.

Some of these are outside Türkiye and the EEA. Transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and, for KVKK purposes, on the conditions in Article 9.
7. Cookies and browser storage
Harmoniq sets no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click through.
What it does use is your browser's own storage, and only for things the app cannot work without:
hq_session— your sign-in token. Removing it signs you out.hq_me— a cached copy of your own profile so screens do not flash empty on load.hq_sid— a random session ID for usage events. It is not tied to your identity and disappears when you close the tab.- Preferences you set, such as language and the neural-engine toggle.
8. Your rights
Under KVKK and the GDPR you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct anything wrong;
- delete your data — see below;
- give you a copy in a portable format;
- restrict or object to a particular use;
- withdraw consent where that was the basis.
Write to hello@harmoniqdj.com from the address on your account. We answer within 30 days, and normally within a couple of days — it is one person reading that inbox, not a ticket queue.
If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu) or, in the EU/UK, your local data protection authority.
9. Deleting your account
Ask, and everything goes: profile, library, folders, sets, posts, comments, messages and usage events. It is not reversible, so export anything you want to keep first.
Two things survive, and only because the law requires it: records Polar must keep for tax and accounting on a purchase you actually made, and anything we are under a legal obligation to retain. Neither is used for anything else.
10. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and are never readable, by us or anyone else. Database access is restricted row by row, so one account cannot read another's data. Sign-in tokens expire and refresh. Changing your password signs out every other session.
No system is perfect. If there is a breach affecting your data, you will be told, and the authorities notified within the legal deadline.
11. Children
Harmoniq is not for under-16s. We do not knowingly collect their data; if we learn we have, the account is deleted.
12. Changes
Material changes move the date at the top and are emailed to registered users before they take effect.

Veri sorumlusu, Türkiye'den yürütülen bağımsız bir ürün olan Harmoniq DJ'in işletmecisidir. İletişim: hello@harmoniqdj.com. Resmî bir başvuru için — ilgili kişi başvurusu, bir düzenleyicinin talebi, hukuki bir bildirim — işletmecinin kayıtlı bilgilerine ihtiyacın olursa bu adrese yaz, iletilir.
Bu politika Türkiye'de KVKK (6698 sayılı Kanun) ile AB/BK GDPR'a uygun olacak şekilde yazılmıştır. Başka bir ülkedeysen aşağıdaki haklar sana yine de sunulur.
2. Cihazından hiç çıkmayan şey
İnsanların en çok sorduğu kısım bu, o yüzden başa aldık.
Ses dosyaların analiz için yüklenmez. Ton, BPM, enerji ve güven; kendi tarayıcın tarafından, kendi makinende hesaplanır. Hiçbir dosya sunucuya gönderilmez, kuyruğa alınmaz, uzaktan işlenmez. Yayımlanmamış promolar olduğu yerde kalır.
Bir ses dosyasının cihazından çıktığı tam olarak tek bir durum var ve onu sen bilerek başlatıyorsun: bir parçayı topluluk gönderisine ya da doğrudan mesaja eklemek. O dosya, gönderdiğin kişilere iletilebilmesi için yüklenir. Bunun dışında hiçbir ses yüklenmez.

Dosyanın adı saklanır; dosyanın kendisi saklanmaz. Dosya adlarında tutmamızı istemeyeceğin bir şey varsa analiz etmeden önce adını değiştir.
4. Asla yapmadıklarımız
- Verini veri simsarlarına ya da reklamcılara satmak, kiralamak veya paylaşmak.
- Reklam ya da siteler arası izleme çalıştırmak. Google Analytics yok, Meta pikseli yok, reklam ağı yok. Kullanım olayları kendi veritabanımıza gider ve orada kalır.
- Sesin üzerinde makine öğrenmesi modeli eğitmek. Harmoniq'in içindeki modeller sen gelmeden önce, lisanslı ve açık veri kümeleriyle eğitildi.
- Doğrudan mesajlarını okumak — hukuken zorunlu kılındığımız durumlar dışında.

Bunların bir kısmı Türkiye ve AEA dışındadır. Aktarımlar, sağlayıcıların standart sözleşme hükümlerine ve KVKK bakımından 9. maddedeki koşullara dayanır.
7. Çerezler ve tarayıcı depolaması
Harmoniq hiçbir reklam çerezi ve hiçbir üçüncü taraf izleme çerezi kullanmıyor; bu yüzden tıklayıp geçeceğin bir onay bandı da yok.
Kullandığı şey tarayıcının kendi depolaması, ve yalnızca uygulamanın onsuz çalışamayacağı şeyler için:
hq_session— giriş jetonun. Silmek seni çıkış yaptırır.hq_me— kendi profilinin önbelleğe alınmış kopyası; ekranlar açılırken boş yanıp sönmesin diye.hq_sid— kullanım olayları için rastgele bir oturum kimliği. Kimliğinle ilişkili değildir ve sekmeyi kapattığında kaybolur.- Belirlediğin tercihler; dil ve sinir ağı anahtarı gibi.
8. Hakların
KVKK ve GDPR kapsamında bizden şunları isteyebilirsin:
- hakkında ne tuttuğumuzu söylememizi;
- yanlış olan her şeyi düzeltmemizi;
- verini silmemizi — aşağıya bak;
- taşınabilir bir biçimde kopyasını vermemizi;
- belirli bir kullanımı kısıtlamamızı ya da ona itiraz etmeni;
- dayanak rıza ise rızanı geri çekmeni.
Hesabındaki adresten hello@harmoniqdj.com adresine yaz. 30 gün içinde, çoğunlukla birkaç gün içinde yanıtlıyoruz — o kutuyu okuyan bir destek kuyruğu değil, tek kişi.
Nasıl ele aldığımızdan memnun kalmazsan Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu'na (KVKK Kurumu), AB/BK'daysan yerel veri koruma otoritene şikâyette bulunabilirsin.
9. Hesabını silmek
İste, hepsi gider: profil, kütüphane, klasörler, setler, gönderiler, yorumlar, mesajlar ve kullanım olayları. Geri alınamaz, o yüzden saklamak istediğin ne varsa önce dışa aktar.
İki şey kalır, ve yalnızca hukuk gerektirdiği için: gerçekten yaptığın bir satın alıma dair Polar'ın vergi ve muhasebe için tutmak zorunda olduğu kayıtlar, ve saklamakla hukuken yükümlü olduğumuz her şey. İkisi de başka hiçbir şey için kullanılmaz.
10. Güvenlik
Trafik aktarım sırasında şifrelenir. Şifreler tuzlanmış özet olarak saklanır ve ne bizim ne başkasının okuyabileceği bir biçimde durur. Veritabanı erişimi satır satır kısıtlıdır; bir hesap diğerinin verisini okuyamaz. Giriş jetonları süresi dolup yenilenir. Şifreni değiştirmek diğer bütün oturumları kapatır.
Hiçbir sistem kusursuz değildir. Verini etkileyen bir ihlal olursa sana haber verilir ve yetkili makamlar yasal süre içinde bilgilendirilir.
11. Çocuklar
Harmoniq 16 yaş altı için değildir. Bilerek onların verisini toplamıyoruz; topladığımızı öğrenirsek hesap silinir.
12. Değişiklikler
Esaslı değişiklikler yukarıdaki tarihi değiştirir ve yürürlüğe girmeden önce kayıtlı kullanıcılara e-posta ile bildirilir.
